How to Verify Your Pharmacy on RxPost (KYB Verification)

Step-by-step instructions for quickly verifying your pharmacy, beneficial owners, and bank account to fully activate your RxPost account.

Welcome to RxPost! Before you can buy or sell medications, you'll need to complete the quick business verification (KYB) process. This ensures your pharmacy meets compliance and security standards.

⚡️ Important Information Before Starting:

  • Who can complete verification?
    A business representative who owns at least 25% of the business must complete verification in one sitting.

  • Security and Privacy
    Your information is transmitted securely to Dwolla, our trusted ACH payment processor. RxPost never stores sensitive details on our servers.

  • Documents to prepare (you may need these):

    • Business formation documents (Letter 147C or SS-4 Confirmation Letter)

    • Recent business tax filings (Form 1040, 1065, or 1120)

Important:
If you exit before completing the verification process, you'll need to start again from scratch.


✅ Step-by-Step Verification Guide:

Step 1: Get Started

  1. You'll first see a screen that confirms your NPI Number and State License Number (auto-filled from your registration).

  2. Select your pharmacy’s Business Structure:

    • Corporation

    • LLC

    • Partnership

    • Sole Proprietorship

  3. Click "Continue" to proceed.

Step 2: Enter Tax Details

  • Provide your business EIN (Tax ID number) and verify your business's legal name.

  • Tip: You can find this on your letter 147C or SS-4 Confirmation Letter from the IRS

Step 3: Provide Business Details

  • Confirm your pharmacy’s address and phone number.

  • Optionally, add your pharmacy’s website if available.

Step 4: Enter Business Representative Information

Provide details about yourself or another authorized person who is completing the verification:

  • Legal name

  • Email address

  • Job title

  • Date of birth

  • Home address

  • Phone number

  • Last 4 digits of Social Security Number (SSN)

Step 5: Verify Your Business Owners (Beneficial Owners)

RxPost requires information about your pharmacy’s beneficial owners—any individual who owns 25% or more of the business.

  1. Choose one:

    • My pharmacy has at least one individual who owns 25% or more of the business

    • My pharmacy does NOT have any individual who owns 25% or more of the business

  2. If applicable, provide the following information for each beneficial owner:

    • Full Name

    • Home Address (Street, City, State, Zip, Country)

    • Date of Birth

    • Last 4 digits of SSN

After adding each owner’s details, click Add Owner. Repeat as needed.

Step 6: Connect Your Bank Account (Plaid)

To fully activate your account and enable transactions, you need to securely connect your pharmacy's bank account:

  1. When prompted, click "Connect Bank with Plaid".

  2. Follow the secure prompts provided by Plaid:

    • Instant Verification: Log in using your online banking credentials.

    • Microdeposit Verification: Verify small deposits made to your account.

  3. Once linked, your account is ready for secure payments and payouts.

Step 7: Review & Submit

Carefully review all information entered, then click "Submit". You’ll receive an immediate confirmation message once completed.


⏰ Verification Timeline & Checking Your Status

Verification status is usually immediate. You can view your pharmacy’s verification status anytime in your Store Settings. If additional documents or actions are required, you'll see clear instructions on what to do next right from your settings page.

Once verified and your bank account is connected, your pharmacy is fully set to buy and sell medications on RxPost!
