✅ Step 1: Check that you're eligible
To create your RxPost account, you'll need:
Your pharmacy license.
Your pharmacy’s NPI number.
EIN (tax ID number) and basic business info.
A bank account number for payments (ACH).
Currently, RxPost is available in these states:
California, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.
✅ Step 2: Create your account (2 mins)
Go to rx-post.com and click "Sign Up Free" in the top right.
Enter your work email and create a secure password.
Verify your email with a secure verification code or link.
Proceed to a quick onboarding flow where you:
Verify your pharmacy's NPI number.
Enter your pharmacy store name.
Answer a few questions on how you anticipate using RxPost
Click Submit.
You’ll then land directly in RxPost. You can browse, but you won't be able to buy or sell until you complete a quick verification step.
✅ Step 3: Complete your account setup checklist
Once you log in, you’ll see an easy checklist to guide you:

Complete each step to unlock full RxPost capabilities.
✅ Step 4: Verify your pharmacy business (KYB)
RxPost must verify your business before you can buy or sell medications.
This step typically takes less than one business day.
To verify your pharmacy:
Click "Verify your business" from the checklist or the red banner at the top.
Complete the easy, step-by-step form:
Enter basic pharmacy info (type, address, EIN).
Provide information about yourself or another authorized person at your pharmacy, including name, date of birth, and last four digits of the SSN for identity verification.
Review and submit your info.
✅ Step 5: Connect your bank account
You'll need to connect your pharmacy’s bank account to pay for purchases and receive payments for sales securely via ACH.
To connect your bank account:
Click 'Connect a bank account' from the checklist or the new red banner at the top.
Follow the easy prompts through our secure partner, Plaid, to select and link your bank.
Once linked, you’re all set to buy and sell securely.
🎉 Step 6: You're ready to go!
Now your pharmacy can fully use RxPost. Here’s what to do next:
Make your first purchase – Quickly find and order medications.
List your first medication for sale – Easily sell your surplus inventory.
Understand compliance basics – Learn how to legally use RxPost according to pharmacy laws.

Why can't I buy or sell yet?
Make sure you've completed both pharmacy verification (KYB) and bank connection from your checklist.
How long will verification take?
Verification typically takes less than one business day.
Can staff use RxPost right away?
Yes, but they'll only have browsing access until your pharmacy is fully verified.
